Review on 🎯 ONE80 Gladiator Dartboard: Maximum Scoring Potential and Less Bounce Outs with Top-Grade African Sisal and Sword Edge Staple Free Wire Spider by Robert Farrar

Revainrating 5 out of 5

3 "G2 " boards, 2 at 44 weeks at home, 1 at 48 weeks 1500 hours of darts in a tiny pub.

After about 44 weeks in my air-conditioned apartment, the Gladiator 2, on which I occasionally tested darts, looks almost like new. Another Gladiator 2 dart, also 44 weeks old, has never been used in my apartment, looks brand new. I set up a Gladiator 2 dartboard in a small restaurant pub 48 weeks ago. It has about 1500 hours of darts. A G2 pub dartboard hangs a few feet from the door leading outside. We believe the high humidity on the outside caused the fibers of the G2 sisal to swell on the pub dartboard, resulting in its scoring system not being flush like the lesser used G2s in my apartment. The pub panel no longer looks what I would call professional. On January 1st, 2020 I will replace it with a new G2. My experience with darts has taught me that no target can be perfect. If a sisal dartboard gets wet, it will be damaged almost immediately. Getting the tip of a dart into a dartboard wire within 1500 hours of darts play seems to cause the scoring system wires to stick out of any type of dartboard. The wiring system of the G2 board is fixed on the back. I believe the G2 has slowed the growth of cables in the pub. I doubt G2 dart wires will look like new after 1500 hours of dart play. From what I understand the new dartboards: Black Canyon, Nodor, Winmau and Unicorn with Razor scoring systems appear to be brand new but their wiring systems failed in fewer hours of dart play than the Pub Gladiator 2 board. The darts look a lot worse than new ones and the Alien wears out faster than any other dartboard I've seen. Round scoring wires are usually not very beneficial if you intend to play darts frequently. Round wires bend badly when accidentally hit by an arrow. Conclusion: I buy G2 targets until they are all sold out, then I buy a Gladiator 3 target.
