Simple design works great for threading and making straps etc from paracord Saves me tons of time and frustration when working with 550 4mm paracord. Initially I was very disappointed when attaching the paracord. I've tried the cord on the needles several times with no success, the next day I take another piece of paracord and I have no problems. At first I thought I must have been tired and uncoordinated the first time, but eventually I realized I had two different sized paracords. The 554mm is fairly easy to attach to the needles, while the 750 requires a small modification to the core of the line as well as a bit of luck. I've seen a lot of disappointing reviews and I'm wondering if at least some of them are caused by the same problem
