Review on Spal FRH Fan Relay Harness by Michael Colley

Incredible quality product at a great price. I have a SPAL VA10-AP50/C-61A 12" exhaust fan in a '96 '72 Saab and it was the perfect way to adapt a modern fan to my old car. Derale, Hayden and others offer similar products but are pales in comparison when it comes to build quality. Lots of wires are included, the yellow and red wires are somewhere north of 12 AWG (the wires are metric, it's an Italian product) and the gray and orange wires are around 18 AWG I had initial problems with the fuses, and the SPAL customer service was out of this world, a real engineer answered my long email with details and lab results in PDF documents detailing inrush currents, wire temperature ratings, etc. Take it Time, crimp well, use heat shrink tubing, and follow directions. You can't go wrong with SPAL.
