January 2020: Installed in bidet sprayer. Bidets are so poorly constructed - sprayers are never powerful enough to withstand the water pressure - which is why manufacturers always say you have to use a check valve before and after each use. But the shut-off valve for bidet sprays is always downstairs, behind the toilet! Who wants to get there before and after every use? I installed this shut off valve at the end of the sprayer - between the hose and the sprayer itself. So far it has worked great to stop the inevitable bidet leak that started appearing a few weeks after installation due to the shut off valve under the toilet not being used . It doesn't matter that it's a pressure reducing valve since it's a bidet application. It's only during the day, so update it when it starts leaking. It ruins the clean look of the bidet sprayer, but it's a lot better than having a bucket on the floor, and better than crawling under the toilet! I wish it was designed with a more modern aesthetic.
