Review on Enhance Your Viewing Experience with Mount-It! Tilting TV Wall Mount Bracket by Frank Villanueva

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good assembly and easy installation but not for TVs larger than 42 "

I hung two TVs today, a 42" Panasonic and a 50" Panasonic. The actual mount does not match the image shown. The picture shows holes in the top and bottom rows but there aren't any holes in the middle of the wall mount which isn't a big deal, it just means the wall mount has to be off center but that in itself causes a problem which I'll see below will describe. The problem is that the wall mount is less than 32 inches (slightly under 30 inches), which means you can't connect two full bays that have pins that are 16 inches apart. Most of the time you will be placing the socket and HDMI cable/plug in the middle of your chimney so you know there is a mullion in that spot, so now ideally you want to straddle a mullion to the left and a mullion to the right , but the bracket won't extend that far because it's less than 32 inches, so you need to choose the e side to attach the wall bracket to two studs, and if your TV is about 42 inches wide, it's ok , because you can slide the tv on the wall mount to center the tv but on my 50" tv the mounts on the back of the tv are wider than the 42" tv and barely fit the wall mount so no There is room to slide it over the wall bracket to center the TV. If the wall mount was wider, about 36 inches, I could add four screws to the outer posts and cover two bays instead of one. Note that there are no holes in the center, so you can't insert anchor bolts. in this central hairpin for that reason.
