Radio is clean enough, finish is good. But the battery life is complete nonsense. If you leave the radio on for more than 24-48 hours after removing it from the charger and fully charged, only two bars will remain. I'll make use of it at this point for maybe a few days and use it from time to time to socialize and do farming chores on our 47 acre property. Then you will get BEEP BEEP, BEEP BEEP, which tells you that the battery is dead. Note that I've been using the T200 (bought a 3 pack) and the battery life has been great for me even with the rechargeable battery. But this T265, or whatever it is, orange. Garbage. I think that's because he has more options. For example weather radio and so on. Transmission range is no better as both the T200 and T265 transmit at 2W on some channels (GMRS) and 1/2W on others (FRS). I don't get it though, because if this feature isn't used, why is it draining the battery? Perhaps the more complex circuitry and the number of resistors and control boards the battery has to power the battery has something to do with it. Conclusion: bigger is not always better. Sometimes the simpler is better, especially if you never use functions.
