After using a used Dualshock for about a year I decided it was time to upgrade my controller. I knew I had to replace my poles as the previous owner had broken them both. Heavily inspired by Persona 5, I was looking for a set of buttons that screamed "stylish". Choosing metal buttons over plastic buttons was a good choice. They look solid and heavy. There is no color that would peel off. And they are built to last. After purchase I was concerned that the triggers would not fit as I have seen some customers having issues with the Gen 1 controller which requires Gen 2 triggers. However mine fits perfectly and is probably the most comfortable of all the buttons. The D-Pad is slightly smaller than the original and the face buttons are much smaller. They move a lot, which is an unfortunate compromise for aesthetics. So much so that I worried I hadn't installed them properly. They still look very cool and the input is still very accurate. And finally mini joysticks. They also fit perfectly. Remember to press firmly on them during installation. I had to press R3 when reinstalling the face buttons after testing this set for a week. The in-game camera stuttered due to my own mistakes, but now it works as intended. Overall the buttons work great, feel great and are worth the price! I just wish the spherical face buttons were a bit larger to fit on the controller face. And maybe a set of "Share" and "Options" buttons!
