Review on ๐Ÿฅฆ YONCON Digital Food Scale: Accurate Weight Loss Tool for Baking and Cooking - 22Ib Capacity, Large Stainless Steel Countertop Design with Hidden Hooks by Becky Ness

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Does everything it's supposed to and comes with batteries!

One of my favorite things about it is the "Tare" button. You place an empty container on the scale and then press the button - the display changes to 0.0. You can then add anything to the container. So if your recipe calls for 100mg of rice, you don't have to pour the rice directly onto the scale, and you don't have to weigh the container first and subtract that from the reading to make sure you have the right amount. .You can press another button and it will switch between different measurement types. I'm an American living in North America and grew up on ounces and pounds. But with this amazing thing called the internet, some of my favorite recipes use grams. Yes, I have an app on my phone to convert it, but it's a lot easier to let the scale figure it out. As far as I can tell, this is correct. In any case, it's not noticeably inaccurate. The kit comes with instructions but I didn't use it much because everything was intuitive. Of course, I had a digital scale before that could do all of that, so I didn't have to learn much. 2 batteries are required, which are included in the scope of delivery. I think they are AAA - don't feel like opening it up again to check. But they are already in the package. Yay! The description says you can use this for a list of things, including experiments. FYI: If you're a real scientist in a real lab, you might want to use a more accurate scale. But if you're trying to make slime, that's probably fine.

Pros
  • Well done
Cons
  • A few little things
