I don't think there are many alternatives for the dual hose door adapter and it's clearly a niche cheap product so... isn't it? Note that I am using Whynter ARC-14s Dial hose. Pros: - looks OEM indeed - "does the job" - easy to install Cons: major flaw: it only needs to be about 1 inch wider on each side. Here's why: Every sliding door and window has a pocket that seals when the door is closed. Because the distance between the hose and the metal edge is too small, it does not "settleโ in the guide in any way, the hose hits the door post. It would be almost perfect if they just added that 2 inches of extra plastic. - Protective insulation is thin and cheap - Hose connectors are weak (screwed in in winter) and hoses are not lightweight. They can be easily pulled out of the plate. Hose fitting diameters are approximately 1/8" thinner than OEM fittings, making hose insertion a brute force.
