Review on 🚽 Saniflo 021 Saniswift Gray Water Pump – Efficient and Stylish in White by Kenneth Barnes

In January 2012 I installed a Saniflow 021 SANISWIFT for a professional dog grooming bath (see my picture). We use the tub every day and the pump continues to do a great job. Now he seems fairly inconspicuous, sitting out of sight and doing his job. Reading here, I agree with other weekend warriors that the SANISWIFT documentation leaves a lot to be desired. I also agree that it's odd that Saniflow didn't place sealed pressure inlets all over the place instead of forcibly cutting off at least one top vent inlet. The SANISWIFT pump is powerful and I'm sure it can handle two things at the same time. washers. However, I think the weakest link of the product is the water outlet check valve rubber boot. I found that the supplied hose clamps almost had to be removed for the connection to be tight enough to stop the leak! Because of the connection, I highly recommend buying a Zircon 63931 leak detector (Revain sells them) or similar and placing it next to the pump to let you know. minute if there is a problem. To protect against electric shock, you must also connect the pump to a GFCI outlet. Revain sells GFCI extension cords, which should suffice in place of a proper outlet. Overall I'm happy with the pump and my setup. I would like Saniflow to improve on the check valve clutch design. If that pump fails in, say, 5 years, I'll probably buy another SANISWIFT 021 so I don't have to change the lines. Good luck with the installation!
