Review on Nostalgia TCS2: Easy-Clean Grilled Cheese Toaster with Adjustable Toasting Dial by John Salleh

Not as quick as a frying pan but it does its job without having to look at the stove and makes more sandwiches. I only received mine yesterday so I've only used it once so I can't comment on the durability of this item yet. I like my sandwiches a bit on the brown side, and I had to set them on the highest setting on the 'Light' setting - and then I had to toast them twice more. But the American and Swiss melted GREAT and the sandwiches were AMAZING! The sandwich racks work well with little to no mess. The box advertises that ham and cheese can also be grilled, and I wouldn't be surprised if they turn out well. The grills don't let you get creative with your creations as they have to hold the sandwich taut and the contents don't spill out. Assuming this new device will stand the test of time, I've benefited a lot from it. For lovers of grilled cheese and at this price a BUY. EDIT: Don't buy it. It has NOT stood the test of time. Literally a week later the heating element started to short out and the only way was to get up and hold the lever down for it to start boiling. And about two times after that it stopped working. Throw it in the trash and look at another brand.
