Together with the 1/4 moon blade, cutting in the cutting area of the shell protects the entire content. Own space. Wonderful. With a few coats of Papa Oki Table Oil, the wood gets extra protection and looks nice for the guests at the table. This is by far the most impressive cutting board I own.
