Took about an hour to install. I didn't even have to remove the tire on my 2001 Pathfinder. Just lift it up and I was able to slide it between the spiral section of the rear spring. I connected the air hose to the bag first and inserted the air hose into the hole at the bottom of the spring seat and I was able to draw a line from the left side and tie it to the other (driver's side) air hose with the supplied air hose T. The hardest part was in connection with a tee. The included tee is plastic and it is very difficult to push the air hoses all the way in (I tried water spray and WD-40 but it was still very difficult to push it all the way in, either it wouldn't go in or the hose was kinked). If I ever need to rebuild it I will use a 1/4" brass tee for that. After installing an air valve on the draw tide hitch I inflated the bags to 10psi pressure and they looked perfect and rode better without them. any encumbrance. I wish there was a slightly better (rubber lined air port) air port but I can always replace it if needed. Oh this kit does not come with a top cap and I have nothing on the existing spring damper ( rubber) and it fitted perfectly after installation. Despite the added protection, I would like it to come with a top cover, hopefully it doesn't get to the point where I have to call on the lifetime guarantee Overall the installation was without major Effort easy (tools needed: drill, drill, jack, zip tie cutter. Wish I had done this a long time ago while towing my boats. Even if it was with comes with a dark gray or black bag, I don't think it will look that obvious. I'm just saying. -------------------------------------------------- ------ -- After about 3 years I noticed that the air had leaked out and the lower air hose on the driver's side had come loose from the fitting. I reinstalled the hose and used a new clamp. If I have to do it again I would use a slightly different clamp to tighten the connection. Since the air tube goes through a hole in the bottom of the spring, there's nothing you can do about it. It just so happens that the design of the installation site is a little inconvenient to install perfectly. You just need to check the air pressure from time to time. I'm not sure when the hose came loose, but I heard a creaking noise and that's why I find the hose loose. Everything is fine now and I am very surprised that the airbag was not damaged at all.
