It has been said more than once that the lens should be taken by those who want to free themselves from the whale "18-55" initially I grabbed this lens because I wanted to shoot what was far away (the standard desire of a beginner), but then it became clear that the lens copes with all the tasks with a bang! The quality of the photos is very good (now I don’t want to dress the whale, I’m looking for something to replace it) I note that the focus sometimes still misses (on the D5100 camera), but this drawback is not critical, but I can say from my own experience that with the right camera settings, the lens spanks great both in a fairly dark room (not at a disco, of course) I recommend) sample photo: page=0
