Review on 💡 Rivet Single-Light Flush-Mount Ceiling Light with Metal Shade - 7"H, White/Brass - Amazon Brand by Heather Coleman

I really like the look of this light. It's a bit "industrial" but at the same time modern enough for the most Danish minimalism. The black "dome" and brass trim look great against my cream ceiling. It's pretty easy to set up, but also a little weird, or at least not what I was expecting. I suspect it is due to the large curved lampshade which is not removable so it can be installed with screws inserted vertically. Thus, the final step involves two screws from opposite sides through slightly elongated (for adjustment) holes. Unfortunately in my case the holes are not wide enough and the lamp leaves a small gap between it and the ceiling surface. I'm sure I can fix this little complication. Also (a small point) a light bulb. Nowadays there is no point in turning on a lightbulb unless it is LED, which is what most people use today. Overall I would recommend this fixture if the electrical box is almost flush with the ceiling. I'd rather buy a large frosted LED bulb than the old fashioned Edison style. The bare clear lightbulb in this lamp is too much of an interrogation room for me.
