bought this scale because my previous scale, the high quality Fuzion brand, broke and I no longer had the necessary items to fulfill the warranty. So I needed a replacement, which is what led me here. I was skeptical at first as I had never seen or heard of this "Horizon" brand, but I chose to use it mainly for its low price and large range (500 x 0.01g), but this Most important: it is 5 years old warranty. Calculating a scale that has some sort of guarantee has more potential to be accurate and of decent quality than a scale that doesn't. and to my great surprise I was right. as this scale is 100% accurate. I have a few things that I use to calibrate and test the scale and when I received this scale I put in a set of brand new batteries (not the ones that came with it) and started weighing all of those items. and each of these objects immediately showed its exact weight. I am all the happier about the purchase of this scale. Very seldom has the scale deviated by even 0.01, but a quick re-weighing of the item immediately returned 100% accuracy. However, this type of wobble is normal and to be expected as I have experienced it in every 100th scale I have ever come into contact with. In conclusion, I would definitely recommend this scale if you are looking for an accurate scale at an exceptional price.
