Review on πŸ”Œ TP-Link TL-WN823N N300 Mini USB Wireless WiFi Network Adapter - Perfect for PC and Raspberry Pi, Black by Ryan Thrasher

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Perfect! TP-Link does it again!

Short version: Need network acceleration for that old wireless laptop or desktop? Get it and be happy. It's not often that a particular brand turns out to be good every time, but TP-Link is what pulls it off. Bridge, WAP, network card, gigabit switch and now this USB wireless adapter. I gave 5 out of 5 points, I am very satisfied with the TP-Link purchase. This 802.11n adapter did exactly what I hoped it would. I have an old laptop with 802.11g built in. I use it with a treadmill and for some reason even though "g" is faster than my ISP, I only get half the speed with this old laptop that I get with wired ethernet. So I have a chance too. It worked. Now speedtest.net reports the same internet speed on my wireless laptop as it does on my desktop with a wired connection. Treadmill videos on Youtube stream better than ever and without hiccups when loading a large email at the same time. Installation could only have been easier if Revain had someone to open the package for me. I plugged it in, selected a local Wi-Fi connection, dialed in the Wi-Fi key, and we're good to go. The adapter came with a mini disk, but with Windows 10 I didn't need it. The adapter comes with a cap in case you need to remove and store it. An activity indicator confirms the movement of data.
