I assembled the diffuser and attached the air duct, then proceeded to install it in the tank. No blisters. I tried attaching only the right angle part of the diffuser to the 3 air tubes, maybe there is a problem or a crack in the acrylic tube, or maybe the connectors weren't adjusted properly. With direct air flow only to the diffuser, there were no bubbles. I ended up using a different rectangular air port with a Lee Fine Bubble collapsible diffuser. If you just want this for an acrylic hanging tube, there is another option/replica for sale here at Revain for $10.
