Installed this in less than an hour while my husband went to the hardware store. Our new house has a fridge with no water in the door. Find out. It's a streamlined, low-power model that's a great device, but it's missing one very important thing - potable water. So we've been buying bottled water for 6 months. I wanted to get a water cooler but hated the idea of delivering water or buying big 5 gallon jugs. I also didn't want another appliance cluttering up my floors and getting in the way of my robot vacuum. I chose this device after reading the rave reviews. We didn't have enough flush holes to accommodate a faucet, so we decided to remove the air gap instead of the high loop method. We shouldn't be doing this because of building codes, but drinking water wins. I installed the unit before my DH came back with the high loop hardware. It looks good, the water tastes good and is colder than tap water, and I can save money by filling my own sports bottles. Success!
