Review on 💪 The Power-Packed Weiand 9208 Action +Plus Water Pump: Unmatched Performance in One! by Geoff Yates

I was looking to replace my old Weand 8208 aluminum water pump on my 1967 327 Corvette. I could only find a new version of the Weiand 9208 pump advertised as suitable for my engine. Well, it didn't fit! The new Weiand pump tabs were 1/8" shorter than the old Weiand 8208 pump, the pump hit my timing chain cover and wouldn't snap into place. In the meantime, I found some 1/8" water pump gaskets online for $20. and was able to fit the pump, so I didn't send them back. But when I tried to fit the water pump pulley, it rubbed against the front of the pump! Me had some old universal fan spacers in my toolbox and was able to move the pulley away from the pump with no belt alignment issues so if you order this pump you may have to spend another $20-$40 on gaskets to fit it see Photos of the gasket between the pump and the motor and the pulley before I relocated it Other than that Weiand makes a great pump I'm not returning it good service from the supplier too 4 stars only for need of adjustment.
