Don't waste your money
Shorter screws snapped at about 50% of installation torque. At least they didn't damage the threads in the head and I was able to go to my local hardware store and buy regular 3/8-16 screws. I suspect that either the material of these screws was not the right one or they were not processed properly. Don't waste money.
