Let's see? The key resembles a combination of flip key and service key. I just ripped my old key apart and used the broken off top "key" part with the new key. When I tried using a brand new key, the key button didn't stick out far enough to be pressed. I think I got a new key but I didn't get a new key and got my old key. I believe it works because now I have nothing to cut and no headache trying to take the chip out. I also moved the Pontiac icon by punching a hole through it. Got in and out easily. The old key section doesn't match the new body perfectly, but it's very close, like a 9/10. Funny how when I tried to assemble the other half with my old key it didn't even come close to fitting together. I think I have a new working key fob that works and looks like a 9.5/10 but I didn't get what I expected because I now have an uncut key that will never fit or work.
