Let's see? The key resembles a combination of flip key and service key. I just ripped my old key apart and used the broken off top "key" part with the new key. This replacement foil for my G8 key fob was just what I needed. I chose a clamshell because my original clamshell key wouldn't click anymore (in addition to the locking and unlocking buttons falling apart). This was the perfect replacement for my worn key fob that had the rubber peeling off where the buttons should be. The new buttons are made of thicker rubber and are more like the new GM keyfobs. Hopefully this means it will last longer than the old soft rubbers I am replacing.
