As someone who is constantly on the hunt for the right sketchbook, I've figured out what paper I need. The paper has two textures, the front is smoother than the back. I found it perfect for alcohol markers because, as you can see in the photos, it didn't bleed through to the next page no matter how much I layered (although I still recommend scrap paper just in case). In some places the marker would corrode the paper, but that was the case with water-based markers. It's really best for dry mediums like pencil and thin liners (hell even glitter pens work here) and I wouldn't use water, those pages will crease and get a rougher texture. I'd say the spine has started to crack, but I'm the guy who carries my sketchbook in my pocket when I go out. All in all I'll definitely be buying more once I'm done, these two 220 pages can take a while? I've had them for 8 months now and I'm still on the first book haha) love them and hope there are other sizes there because they are a pleasure to work with.
