These brushes are a great idea! They really help take the guesswork out of where and how to place highlights. I wanted to test them with bleach the day I received them. That being said, the only one I ended up using was the middle one, since it's meant for more standard highlights. comb through (this works pretty much as expected), backcomb and highlight the caps. These combs are more precise and I used a medium comb (minus the separating comb) along with the foil for all my hair. I ended up with LOTS of blonde - I think in the future I might focus more on the top of the hair to give it more volume. Other than that I think it's a great product. I've added combs to my hair tool bag and will feel a lot more confident doing highlights in the future. The combs are good quality too - nothing you would use once and throw away. My camera is not perfect and does not match the color. I hope the photo just helps show some of the different measurements it has produced in my hair.
