Fantastic as a kitchen drain valve

I've been looking for something like this as a kitchen drain valve for a long time. I want something durable and easy to clean. Others I've tried are made of flimsy wire. They drain well. But they won't last very long. It drains very well and definitely stands up to use in the kitchen. And to be clear, I use it upside down. The only problem I had with it was that the rubber seal came loose after about 2 weeks. It was the wrong side to use in the kitchen sink as I turned it upside down. Because the drain also contains a receptacle, the little cup sometimes pushes against the rubber that goes into the chute. As a result, the cup tilts to the side. In this case dirt can pass through a small gap. But this gap is quite small. So I don't worry about anything big enough to worry about getting through.

Pros
  • The best
Cons
  • Not everything fits
