I wanted to like this and avoid flimsy plastic hair traps, but the base of this product is a little big for the sink's position in my bathtub, so held at a slight angle , and all the hair goes straight underneath. Rather than just having a ring on the bottom edge (presumably to avoid scratching the surface) if it's a silicone/plastic skirt that extends around the base to create a better seal and keep water/hair in the main body of the trap, I think this product would suit more tub/shower styles
