Review on Optimized Cloud-9 Cruiser Contour Suspension Saddle by Jonathan Abreu

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Wide, springy and comfortable

This was the second seat I've tested and I'm much happier with this product for my city/suburb bike rides. The winning features are feathers and width. If you're looking for a comfortable seat for fun city rides, I'll save you time: check out WIDTH and SPRINGS. 11 inches always makes you happy and a little bouncing never hurts. First, I tried the 8.3 inch wide Giddy Up! brand memory foam seat. The problem was that there was actually no feather. Now my bike is a standard lower tech cruiser with no shock absorber suspension systems built into the frame or fat tires or whatever, so the seat is the thing between my butt and the road. In Giddy Up! It was all foam, there was no spring action, and it was too tight. there is *some* weight pressing down. Physics, you know, science. In comparison, the Cloud-9 Cruiser Contour Saddle just made big gains in width (11 inches) and springs. It actually has 2 types of feathers, thick and light, which is really nice. , it's "soft", but a cruiser is made for cruising, not cycling, where the softness can ruin your style/stride or whatever. Width is width, and it also helps distribute the joint (more scientifically) in a comfortable way. So with these two wins I give her a full assessment. hips and makes me spread my legs. In my opinion a small price for more comfort. If you have more, um, "muscles" around your thighs, consider that aspect. Heck, they make these seats that don't have to have that between my legs if that's the case. Some reviewers talked about raising the sad Dl's back. I've fiddled with the seat angle a few times and found a sweet spot for me, but that upward curve is there. Give him a chance to change angle before returning him. Second, reviewers said they creaked (springs). First, mine don't squeak much, but I see that over time they can. Oil/grease always fixes the squeak and the springs are worth it.
