My son has extremely sensitive skin due to a medical condition and suffers from it all the time. His feet should be covered, but many shoes are difficult to put on and can seriously injure him unless they are soft and flexible (I'm talking broken skin, not foot pain). These shoes are the BEST I have found for him apart from the slippers. The entire tongue slides out, the inside is soft and not tight, the velcro straps make it easy to ensure it has enough room to slide in. The bottom of the shoe is perfect for walking on the street, which was previously impossible for him because it was very difficult to find a shoe that would protect him and NOT harm him. I literally cried as it slid lightly and harmlessly down his legs. I just wish they were bigger so he can grow with them. Seriously, a lucky mom.
