Need better quality control.

Pros: 1) The light is very bright and does its job very well. 2) After a little refinement, everything works on the "plug and play” principle. .2) no instructions. Got the headlight today and installed it. When I opened the box there were no instructions on how to fit all the clips together (no big deal, just look it up on youtube). But the annoying part. The silver bracket was scratched like hell and the black bracket had to be put down at the end of the label where you put the screws (see photos, you can see where I marked it with marker and the other after I put it down) . Then the metal part of the hook that attached to the main body didn't have enough room to even fit! Luckily all I had to do was bend it and it fit. The welds there were pretty nimble too. For this price range why can't they put a plug or something in the bottom screw that held the old light to the body. Now I need to find something to keep the water from seeping in through the hole if I ever get caught in the rain. So if you buy this product, be prepared to make some changes. All I can say is that a product that should match the VTX1800 needs a redesign. Honestly, the headlight is $80 and the brackets are $10. The price they are selling it for is a bargain.

Pros
  • Durable Finish
Cons
  • Damaged
