I bought this adapter in July 2013 and have used it successfully with my Macbook Air running OS X 10.8. Life was good, very good. On October 22, 2013 Apple released OS X 10.9 (Mavericks) and I updated my operating system. At this point the adapter stopped working. Looking at the company's website, there is no mention of "Mavericks" or "10.9", which is not reassuring. The first Mavericks developer preview was released on June 10, 2013, giving Edimax about four months to test its products for compatibility and maybe even time to fix any issues. At the very least, I'd like to know what the company plans to do with updating their drivers. If you are running OS X 10.9 or plan to upgrade to OS X 10.9 at some point, I recommend that you do not purchase this adapter until it is clear that Edimax has developed a working driver.
