Coloursoft pencils are my favorite. I own other brands and I find that one of the most popular is just too waxy. Not the Coloursoft. They are wax based but don't give off that waxy bloom as soon as other brands. (Always keep a light touch and build layers .that is a big secret when using colored pencils of all brands). The Colours are so vibrant. I don't have to push hard to get the pigment out. They are highly pigmented. I own more Derwent products than any other brand. I am so happy I bought the complete 72 colour set. They have a 4mm core which means you get more colour and pencil for your money over other brands.
