Good product but misleading information

I bought these from Revain for only $10 because I wanted to test them for my emergency supply. Before we start, there is one thing that confuses me a little, so I want to make sure you all get it. This is advertised as a "three-day supply," but the pack only contains 3,600 calories. So when you consider that the average person eats 2,000 calories a day or more, you're far more likely to get a better idea of how it's going to take you. Yes, we'll probably tighten our belts during a disaster, but that would only mean 1,200 calories a day if you do the math over three days. And it can actually go further, depending on your activity level. So keep that in mind. And now for the good! Taste. While it didn't win any awards for taste, I have to say that the taste was actually quite decent and I actually felt better when I ate the first bar, which was 400 calories. .Package. The packaging was just great. These suction cups were airtight and packaged in a very versatile "brick" that made storage and transportation easy. Packaging and still keep the seal on the sticks inside. Because in the box, the bars are individually wrapped, so you can try a few and save the rest for the future. HOWEVER --- this outer packaging is clearly intended to extend the shelf life. Once it's cracked, you're left with the default shell. Hope that helps. I'll definitely be buying a few more of these now that I know the taste isn't bad. Actually great for coffee!
