I bought this to fix a threaded hole in an aluminum engine case. I ended up patching three or four more holes in the same case. A very convenient solution. I only had to fix one size hole. But I will consider buying a full set if I ever need to patch a non-6mm hole. no longer to be found or very expensive to purchase. One solution (not for those doing a perfect restoration) is to recut the hole to the standard 6mm x 1 size and use the much more common 6mm bolt or screw instead of the old 5mm JIS hardware to use.
