Review on ECOGARD XF55114 Premium Fuel Filter - Compatible with Toyota Camry 2.2L 1992-2001, Avalon 3.0L 1995-1999, Camry 3.0L 1992-1997, Camry 2.0L 1983-1991, Solara 2.2L 1999-2001, Tercel 1.5L 1990-1994 - White by James Hodzic

Not an easy task but the filter itself fits a 2001 Camry LA 2.2L. I have two things to note.1. When transferring the mount from the original filter to this filter it bent on the sides, maybe I was just lucky but I think it's important to say that you don't over tighten the mount as the filter isn't as stiff as it is the OEM . 2nd mine came with three washers. Two of these were useless as the original only had two pucks of the same size. The little one is useless, I was tempted to use it on the entry port but some people get leaks and I'm glad I didn't use it. The other two washers were different sizes, only one was the same size as the original so I used the new one between the fuel port and the filter and one of the old ones between the fuel port and the bolt. I find it important. mention because you don't have to reuse the copper washers, but luckily I don't have any leaks. At the moment the engine has a rough idle, I think the ecu needs to adjust to the new filter and also because I disconnected the battery for a safer install. Overall this is a good product and I will update my review.
