It will probably never stay in my hair because my hair is so thick and long it fell out within the first week and I have a rosewood bobby pin that I bought in 1968 so I don't tend to lose things. I know when my hair was only halfway down my back, I remember enjoying that clip. Although it is a practiced skill to assemble them tightly enough and back together in one movement with care. All in all, I don't recommend this unless you only have shorter hair, in which case it can be very convenient. If your hair is shorter and more importantly longer, I do not recommend it, especially for the cost because it's definitely worth nothing if it's lost.
