Very very happy with Steep Stir! I've been using it several times a day for about two weeks and I can't find anything in it that I didn't like, everything that I did like. It's still my preferred method of infusion now. I used to use a kettle with its own brewing attachment, but the brewing attachment didn't suit me, although I liked the kettle itself. All in all too much trouble. The Steep Stir makes me brew tea in no time, it's always at the right temperature and it's easier to use and clean than my teapot. I brew tea several times a day and this cute little gem helps me keep it simple - easy to use, easy to fill and easy to empty. I rarely have to flush it out because a few hard hits will knock out the spent leaves. For my needs, I make a slight bend near my neck so I can hang it over the thermos neck while I draw. Not for everyone I know but perfect for my needs. To empty the leaves, I turn the barrel so the seam is in front and move it until it curves. After that, despite the bend, I have full access to the barrel for emptying. I load it on top of the tea caddy to keep the leaves from falling apart, then turn the barrel back. My tea has never tasted so good and I get two cups from each batch of Steep Stir. I do this at least 3 times a day and it's easy. And I've never had a problem getting a cup of tea strong enough for my picky taste buds. Steep Stir is so attractive that I feel like I'm pampering myself while using it.
