This was far better than I expected. I needed a gate to keep my dogs out of the kitchen and I was pessimistic that this would work. I half expected something cheap and difficult to install. Turns out it is made of high quality material (metal) and it was very easy to install with no tools (except one little tightening tool that was included in the package.We only had one problem with the gate closing correctly, and all we had to do with make a few adjustments to the hardware that held it against the door frame. It would have been helpful if this had been mentioned in the installation directions, because actually, I don't know exactly what we did to make it work, but through trial-and-error, it is working perfectly.If I had to mention one thing I don't especially like is that to open the gate, you have to slide back a handy slider with you finger and the LIFT UP on the gate. I wish I didn't have to pull up on it to get it to open, but I understand the reasoning behind why it operates this way. If you didn't have to pull up, it might be easy for a small child to figure out how to open it. That of course is not an issue with my dogs.I don't often leave reviews, but I couldn't be happier and I highly recommend this product.
