I use this to record the yoga sessions I teach so I can send the recordings to people who aren't around. It's very easy to use. Press Record, slide the switch to the Hold position, and speak. Recordings can be easily moved from the device memory to the SD card. **Note: Instructions state you must have a Windows PC. It is not true; I have a Chromebook and since this recorder has removable storage, I just pop it into my Chromebook and everything transfers quickly. The supplied microphone is compatible. (I mention this because other product reviews say the included mic isn't compatible. But this one is definitely compatible.) The clip that holds it in place is strong but plastic so care must be taken it doesn't break. The mic cord is VERY long and I usually wrap it around my shirt strap to keep it under control. I log all my activities for a week and the battery is still almost fully charged. I recorded about 11 hours with breaks and it's great. I will definitely take this little guy.
