With In anticipation of OSX Mavericks releasing a week later, I decided to upgrade my late 2008 aluminum Macbook from the factory 2GB to 4GB to speed up the computer. Now RAM is required to open multiple applications (Documents, PDFs, Internet, PowerPoint) simultaneously on your laptop without lag. In my opinion, these days 4GB of RAM is the bare minimum to run software smoothly. The 2x2GB kit was packaged in a sealed aluminum pouch and as advertised - 2 x 2GB DDR3 1066MHz RAM (seller was 4AllDeals) although the circuit boards were slightly different (see the image I uploaded). Once you learned how to install memory on a Macbook, the installation was easy. ADVANTAGES: - SAMSUNG RAM memory - Expands my Apple laptop to the maximum allowed RAM (2GB to 4GB) - Compatible with late 2008 aluminum MacBooks - The price is a fraction of the cost compared to others using this product love and now my computer is optimized and almost like new. I would recommend this memory upgrade to those who are waiting to install the upcoming OSX Mavericks on their Apple laptops.
