I bought this to use for WGU courses and everything was fine. The included tripod was a little shorter than required (I'm going by the rules, but it will probably work). I attached mine to the larger tripod I already had. The only downside is that the inspector can't read my license info on the camera so I have to switch to my laptop's camera to check and then switch back. Not a big problem for the price range.
