Read "Destruction" before using it. If you follow the recommended steps, everything works as advertised. I have about half the "bad cases" with microwave popcorn. There is no smell of used microwave bags and there is no greasy mess. Use a bowl big enough to scoop up the popcorn and clean up will be a breeze. One big difference is that popcorn is very soft, so you'll need to add salt and butter to taste it. BUT, for God's sake, don't put butter IN THE MACHINE. Very very bad.
