At the time of writing this review I have used it 3 times with excellent results. Be sure to bring a coffee spoon and use one spoon per cup of coffee. FYI, one scoop = 2 tablespoons. I have a glass oven and so far it has worked great. I plan on camping it this weekend with a portable propane lamp. When I first used this I used pre-ground packaged coffee which is finer ground. Several bases went through the process and ended up in my cup. The second time I used it, I bought coffee beans and ground them at the store. If they're coarsely ground, they won't easily fit through the basket. I still adjust the brew time based on the strength of the coffee. It seems that after 10-15 minutes of boiling you get a medium strength coffee, but I'm still working on it. Some people use the filter in the shopping cart, but I haven't and it seems fine. The coffee pot, basket and lid are easy to clean and I've also washed them in the dishwasher once (after tossing the set in the trash) but I like to hand wash them. The glass center of the lid can also be removed for cleaning. So far I have been very happy with this purchase. It reminds me of my mom making brew coffee when I was a kid. The smell of home brewed coffee doesn't compare to Keurig which I also have and use when I'm in a hurry. Excellent purchase!
