I am really amazed at how this product is. I was hesitant to purchase this splitter, even when I ordered it I was so close to canceling the order based on some reviews I read. I was looking for a splitter to connect a long HDMI cable to as I was trying to connect my computer from inside the church (the picture is on the back of the church) and a long cable running from the middle of the Church went out on two monitors. The distance for this was 50ft BUT the total length of the cables had to be 100ft as we were running cables inside the wall and it was very difficult to find such a splitter, we only had 50ft HDMI cables. We bought 2 different splitters and didn't work until I found this one. Some of the reviews I read said the input didn't require a 50ft HDMI cable as advertised in the product, the maximum length of the cable was around 25-30ft (which almost made me cancel the product), but other people said what it did he does. YES it does, the input will work with a 50ft HDMI cable because that's what I used, although the max output length is 80ft we end up with a 50ft HDMI cable and the other a 25 -Used foot HDMI cable and it works great! I'm sure a different 50ft HDMI cable would have worked, but we just went with a shorter one due to the distance to the monitors, they weren't that far apart. The picture quality is excellent, love it! I spoke to a friend of mine who bought another splitter and said he spent about $200 on his splitter for the same distance as mine and I am just blown away by how affordable it is and is of such amazing quality. Love it! Highly recommended!
