Not at all happy with solar and wind spares and accessories

I bought 2 packs for a total of 4. My goal was to (1) create a cardboard template (2) use the template to drill and cut holes in my van. (3) Connect my solar panels to it. Good thing I was thinking where to crash into my van. My solar plugs do not fit. The connectors came with rounded corners, but my solar panels are square. If I cut the roof there would be a hole for the weather to get into my van.
