One of the brake cables on my classic car snapped. I don't have much experience fixing bikes, but I love fixing things myself. It's a great learning experience if nothing else, and it seemed easy enough. Since these replacement cables cost about 75 cents each, it's worth a try! As I suspected, the replacement was easy and uncomplicated: insert running end into grip, thread cable through body, pull taut at end through clamp screw to keep everything nice and tidy, tighten clamp screw and cut through. and crimp the end of the cable. You may have to play with the tension to get it right, but it doesn't get much easier!
