I received this soap today, I was excited to try it. I bought this product specifically to keep my skin hydrated. I was looking for a moisturizing soap that could do that so I could apply a good lotion or oil afterwards. When using soap today I honestly feel cheated by the claims that it promotes skin hydration, but I'm confused by the many good reviews that also helped me make my purchasing decision. it was nice to use, went on smooth, smelled nice, it's thick and will last a while but it literally dried me out, seriously. When I finished my skin was actually dehydrated, it had robbed my skin so much I looked a bit pale and creaky afterwards. I didn't get any moisture at all, it pulled the moisture out of my skin and I had to cream it twice because of it. I'm disappointed. I only give 2 stars for the look and the smell.
