If you have a 2005 GMC Envoy or 2005 Chevy Trailblazer and you look like me your factory whip antenna base is broken automatic car wash. This ACDelco 25913869 Genuine GM Equipment Radio Antenna Cable with 7mm Threaded Stud is what you need, but be prepared to be enlightened and informed. First, the standard antenna with the M6 stem is outdated. You can no longer order an OEM antenna base from Revain or GM Parts Direct. This is a replacement, but you need to be prepared. And for me, with all the research, it was a gentle congress act with many trials and tribulations. Hopefully this review will eliminate most of the setbacks and trials. So. Buy this antenna base, it has an M7 leg. Bring the Ronin Short stub antenna from Revain. Go to Harbor Freight (metric combination wrench set of 9) or to Revain and find a 7mm closed micro wrench. I had to buy the whole set to get a 7mm micro wrench. Do not attempt to use a regular or typical socket wrench as you can only remove one of the two screws from the original bracket as there is a metal plate on the right hand screw under the cover. Again, you will need an exact micro wrench to remove the screw on the right side. Watch the YouTube video titled "The Quick Way to Change the GM Antenna Holder". Study it very well. Do exactly what he says. With this antenna base, short whip antenna, 7mm mic wrench and a YouTube tutorial you will be successful. I hope this saves you a lot of time and don't give up.
