Not suitable for all GMC Envoy

Not suitable for all GMC Envoy. Look behind the glove box for the rear radio antenna connection. This part has a plastic hinge that snaps into another plastic hinge. This is a Fakra connector for satellite radio or Sirius. AM/FM antenna for 2004 Envoy.

Will not fit 2003 GMC Envoy XL

Will NOT fit my 2003 GMC Envoy XL even though the description says it will. I made an appointment with my local Best Buy in January to have this replaced and February 26th was the earliest available appointment they had. SO, out of my returns window, out of the cost of that part and still no receipt. Write it down as a loss.

Ideal for car electronics accessories

It's exactly the same as the original part and I get better reception, maybe it's because the old one was rusty and cracked, but I'm still happy with it. It was very difficult to install on my GMC Envoy 08 but once I realized it wasn't that bad. It connects behind the glove compartment and runs through the body panel directly behind the fender on the passenger side.

This part was not "exactly" compatible with my 2006 Envoy. The antenna connector on this cable was a strange connector that no one had ever seen! I couldn't find an adapter between this connector (FAKRA) and a standard connector (mini-din?/mini-motorola?) in the car, and I couldn't find a replacement FAKRA connector, so I cut off the wrong connector. Plug and connect the end of the old cable to the new cable. Works well, but is more cumbersome than expected. If you buy one of these, make sure…

Make sure it's what you need!

Bought for a 2002 Chevy Trailblazer, had the custom pin retainer but the wrong connector. I had to go to my local car stereo and buy three more adapters and another $27 to get it working. If you're considering a purchase, you can unplug your current antenna and see if you need it or not! (On the Trailblazer, remove the access panel under the glove box, pull up the plastic trim at the door opening and also the body stud. Pull back the carpet, you can see the antenna cable going through the…

Needs upgrade for 2005 GMC Envoy but works

If you have a 2005 GMC Envoy or 2005 Chevy Trailblazer and you look like me your factory whip antenna base is broken automatic car wash. This ACDelco 25913869 Genuine GM Equipment Radio Antenna Cable with 7mm Threaded Stud is what you need, but be prepared to be enlightened and informed. First, the standard antenna with the M6 stem is outdated. You can no longer order an OEM antenna base from Revain or GM Parts Direct. This is a replacement, but you need to be prepared. And for me, with all the
