This is a decent card reader that does what it's supposed to do, but it's built and looks cheap. As? Let's see: - the supplied screws do not fit and do not hold in the case - too thin. This is an item that you're constantly pulling and pushing when inserting cards, which is unacceptable. I used better quality screws that I had on hand. The cable isn't connected by a strain relief, but simply protrudes from a hole punched in the thin, sharp casing - it will wear out if handled enough. Well, it's shifted, meaning the cards don't match. I had to cut the holes with a paper knife, now they fit. Another distinguishing feature of cheap goods are BRIGHT activity indicators. The power light is blue, which is fine, but the activity light is white and seems like it's lighting up the room. You'll grab the band to block them in no time. Other than those issues, this works fine. There are no read errors yet. I'm glad I bought it and was able to rebuild it myself.
